“It was a wonderful 6 day tour! I would do it again if I can, with the same itinerary, guide/driver and group of people. Very nicely organized, some days were busy visiting sights, hikes or a walking tours, but other days were less busy and we had time to explore the towns alone, get some souvenir, have some quiet time at the beach or have a meditation at a cathedral. It's the best way to get a taste of the whole country in 6 days. Our guide/driver, Alex, is simply an excellent one! An eloquent story/history teller. He knows how to capture our attention. He tells stories in ways that…”

“I’m glad they had a backpacker option so that I could afford to do this as a student traveling solo! Gordon, our driver, literally knew everything and everyone - he introduced us to lots of locals and gave great recommendations and even hung out with us at the pub in the evenings. (The Celtic Steps show in Killarney and the Black Taxi Tour in Belfast were especially great experiences). The transit experience was great: we had a small coach and a small group (about 15) and the coach had wifi. The accommodations (except the first night) were also very nice - backpackers even got a private room in Annascaul. Breakfast…”

“My mother and I did a trip to Ireland together and chose rail tours to experience outside of Dublin. So glad we did! It was a wonderful experience, all of the guides were extremely knowledgeable and personable. It felt like being with informed friends. All our accommodations were great and all guess work was taken out of it for us. They took care of everything and the one glitch they worked quickly to help us resolve. Could not be happier with out experience.”

“This trip was good. Our schedule was changed a little so we missed seeing Ring of Cary since the day our guide chose got rained on!! The guide was good but rude at times and used foul language at times. Since most of the people on the bus were women it was not appreciated.”

Review of Paddywagon’s 6-day Southern Ireland tour from Dublin, covering Glendalough, Blarney, the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, and the Ring of Kerry.

“The itinerary was not followed. They zig zagged across the country instead of a logical path around like the itinerary stated it would be. This made it so you only had 15 minutes at some destinations. We spent more time at gas stations than at some of our planned destinations. We spent more time on the bus doing it this way as well. The guide was rude when you would ask a question and talked bad about previous people who had done the tour. The guide stated that they made the reservations for hotels everyday and that would determine where we ended up based on what was available that day.…”
